Chartreuse Debut Party! and and introduction to Little Green Pantry...

The day finally came, my sister presented her very first Chartreuse Party! The debut took place in our apartment with a few of our closest friends. We were both so excited to share about this new found company that offers a variety of ecofriendly and green products. From Organic Facial Care, to Natural & Organic Make-Up, Body Care, Babies & Kids, Home Keeping, Reusable Essentials and even Eco-Chic Jewelry!

The party was so much fun to plan and put together! We created a delicious and easy appetizer menu... Here is one of the recipes!

Pesto Alfredo & Red Pepper Tapenade Flat Breads:

-pesto: 2 or 3 cups fresh parsley, 1 cup fresh basil, three cloves garlic, 1/2 cup olive oil, salt & pepper. Blend in food processor or MAGIC BULLET.

• Combine pesto and 2 cups half and half in a small sauce pan. Add 1 cup parmesan.

• Cook on medium-high heat, add sliced button mushrooms and artichoke hearts

• Cook until mushrooms and artichoke hearts are tender.

-pack Naan flat bread (we used garlic Naan)

-1 jar Red Pepper Tapenade

• top your flat bread with the Pesto Alfredo and Tapenade
• Sprinkle parmesan on top and bake for 5 minutes or until cheese melts (golden brown)

We set up our displays in the living room, Ivanka displayed a bunch of the products for our guests to see! She included one of the complete face care sets, body lotions, hair care, and part of the home care set. I displayed some of my products as well, mainly homeopathic and natural remedies. I included the Original Bach Flower Remedies, Hyland's, Nelsons, EcoPure, Source Naturals and Aura Cacia. It was great how our living room ended up looking like a mini store!

Our guests began arriving, and out came the wine and soon after the food began to disappear. Once everyone got settled, the presentation began and Ivanka began talking a little bit about the company. Chartreuse is determined to spread the word on the dangers of chemical infested products. We also learn about the importance of choosing green and earth friendly products. I love the fact that the products are so affordable and I rave about how earth conscious everything is. I can't wait for our next party, everyone had such a goo time and we are hoping to host a party every other month!
